Generator to Building Connection Kit 3 Phase
Purpose: Use your 3 phase generator to supply power to your home or office switchboard as a power backup
Kit for connecting a 3 phase generator to an existing building's MEN switchboard electrical system (usually the main switchboard in a house or office for example, not a sub-board). Designed to comply with the requirements of both the generator and AS/NZS3000,3010.
Each kit comes with the basic electrical accessories required for a generator with a 5 round pin 20 amp socket outlet but can be customised to individual requirements:
- 3 metres of 1.5mm 5 core heavy duty flexible cable for the connection lead
- 20 amp 5 round pin IP66 male plug & 20 amp 5 round pin IP66 female cord connector for the connection lead
- Surface mounted IP66 20 amp 5 round pin male inlet for mounting on the building
- Switchboard DIN mounted NHP 3 pole 100 amp main switch to isolate the generator supply
- Switchboard DIN mounted Schneider 40 amp 4 pole changeover switch
- Total switchboard ways required = 7
- Wiring diagram included
- Must be installed by a registered electrician
